Refund Policy

At Balgan, we want you to love your sauce. Here's how we handle returns and refunds.
Our Standard Policy
Food products cannot be returned once shipped. This is standard practice across the food industry — once a product leaves our facility, we cannot guarantee its safety upon return.
We do not accept returns for: change of mind; ordering the wrong item (please double-check before purchasing); or preference issues after opening.
When We Will Make It Right
Damaged on arrival
- Take photos of the damage within 48 hours of delivery
- Email us at balgansauce@gmail.com with subject: "Damaged Order – [Order #]"
- Include your order number and photos
- We will send a replacement at no cost — no need to return the damaged item
Wrong item received
- Email us at balgansauce@gmail.com within 48 hours
- We will reship the correct item immediately
- We may ask you to dispose of the incorrect item
Lost in transit
- If your order hasn't arrived after 21 business days from the shipping confirmation, check your tracking link first — delays do occur
- Contact us at balgansauce@gmail.com with your order number
- We will investigate with the carrier and either reship or issue a refund
Significant delivery delay
If your order is significantly delayed and you no longer want it, contact us. We'll work something out.
Refund Processing
When a refund is approved: refunds are issued to your original payment method; processing time is 5–10 business days after approval; and you will receive a confirmation email when the refund is processed.
Pre-Order / Kickstarter Orders
If you backed us on Kickstarter: pledge refunds are governed by Kickstarter's terms. For post-Kickstarter fulfillment issues (damage, lost, wrong item), the same policy above applies — contact us at balgansauce@gmail.com and reference your Kickstarter backer number.
